Get Food From Some One You Trust…Hummus House!

Dear Friends,

 We wanted to inform you of the actions we are taking at Hummus House to ensure

the safety of our customers and our employees.
We are currently taking the following steps:

-In addition to increasing our regular and routine cleaning, we are conducting
hourly wipe-downs of door handles, countertops, computer keyboards,
telephones, and other surfaces that come in frequent contact with hands;
– We have added disposable towels and trash cans near doorknobs so staff can

open and close doors without contact with doorknobs;

-Our staff has been instructed to stay home if experiencing ANY symptoms of
illness and will be temperature checked each day before entering the facility;
-We are practicing more frequent hand-washing, wearing gloves and using
hand sanitizer and have instituted a new internal policy that address
sanitation protocols for all product deliveries, food deliveries, and
interactions that occur with distributers, customers and employees;
– We have moved workstations to create a safe working distance between

employees;

– Staff will be assigned pens, phones and POS terminals for single employee
usage during each shift only one staff member will be interfacing with the
public and a sneeze guard is being added to limit proximity;
– In order to have fewer employees working in proximity to each other we are
splitting the staff into two independent work forces a M-W team & Th-Sat
team with deep cleaning happening in between team change overs.
Hummus House employees a lot of families, we have bothers, uncles and
Aunts, siblings and spouse teams so we will be grouping households together

to limit exposure;

– In order to try and maintain employment of our staff we are expanding our

delivery services to include more drivers (this gives us the safety and comfort
of knowing the drivers who are delivering your food). We do not have plans
to outsource delivery to third party sellers (Ubereats, postmates, grub

hub);    

– We have eliminated in restaurant waiting areas and will no longer be offering

an open restroom to the public;

– We encourage online prepayments for all delivery and take-out orders;
-We have curbside pick-up and contactless delivery available. Please indicate
when placing your order if this is your preference. For curbside pick-up
please call us to let us know when you are outside and what kind of car you
are driving. We will bring your food to you. Please note, this option is only

available on pre-paid orders;

-Sauces and plasticware (hot sauce, garlic sauce, and ketchup) are by request

only, please indicate on your order if you would like them;

-Our new hours are 11:30-8:30 (last delivery order accepted at 8:00).

We realize that these measures create inconveniences for our customers and our
staff, but are taking these steps in order to help stop the spread of this dangerous
virus for the safety of the greater community. We are grateful for your support and
